About Jambhoji
Guru Jambhoji (1451–1536 CE), the great saint and founder of the Bishnoi Panth, was born in Pipasar village, near Nagaur in Rajasthan, into a humble Panwar Rajput family. His father was Lohatji Panwar, and his mother was Hansadevi Bhati. From a young age, Jambhoji displayed deep spiritual insight and compassion for all living beings. In 1485 CE, at Samrathal Dhora near Nokha (in present-day Bikaner district), he founded the Bishnoi Panth — a spiritual and ecological reform movement based on 29 sacred principles that emphasized harmony between humans, animals, and nature
